Plan to join us for the 4th edition of SARAC, co-organized by the University of St.Gallen’s Institute of Accounting, Control and Auditing (ACA) and the University of Lausanne’s Department of Accounting and Control (DAC). On February 6th and 7th, 2025, the conference will take place in Davos, Switzerland.

SARAC aims to bring together experienced researchers, early career researchers, and PhD students to exchange research ideas and projects. We welcome submissions of papers in all areas of financial and management accounting. We encourage submissions of empirical studies employing novel data and approaches in terms of data gathering (e.g., field studies, experiments, hand-collected) and/or settings (e.g., private firms, European data, banks, financial services) that are of potential interest to regulators and practitioners.

SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: Our keynote speakers are:
- Shivaram Rajgopal, Columbia University
- Ane Tamayo, The London School of Economics and Political Science

LOCATION SPOTLIGHT: The conference takes place in one of the most famous Swiss Alps ski resorts, Davos. Even better, our conference venue is the home of the World Economic Forum, The Congress Centre Davos. Further, we will have our conference dinner at Schatzalp, a unique restaurant one can only reach by cable car, famous for its association with Thomas Mann’s novel ‘The Magic Mountain’.

SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION: The submission deadline is August 1st, 2024. The registration deadline is December 15th, 2024.
- Early registration fee (until 4 Oct 2024): CHF 400, PhD students: CHF 300
- Late registration fee (as of 5 Oct 2024): CHF 450, PhD students: CHF 350
