The 8th Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance (JAAF) – Accounting Theory and Practice (ATP) India symposium will be held at the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur), Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, on January 11 - 12, 2025. The JM Financial Centre for Financial Research at IIM Udaipur is organizing the Symposium jointly with the Indian School of Business (ISB), IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Authors are invited to submit (unpublished and/or not accepted elsewhere for publication) research papers, related to accounting, finance, law, and corporate governance, and consistent with the aims and scope of JAAF and ATP for presentation. Papers are to be submitted in an electronic form at the Symposium website.

There is no submission fee for paper submissions. The Symposium Program Committee will select papers for presentation based on the reviewers' comments, the work's quality, and the potential for contributing to the literature. The deadline for submission is September 15, 2024, and decisions on selected papers will be communicated by October 15, 2024.

REGISTRATION: Attendance is open to all, but there is limited space for participants who are not speakers and discussants. Those interested in attending the Symposium should register at the Symposium website before December 1, 2024. The registration fee for attendees is INR 5,000 (Approx. US$60) (18% GST additional) and will cover Symposium materials and conference meals. More information about the Symposium, IIM Udaipur, the venue, and logistics can be found on the Symposium website. The registration fee can be paid through the payment gateway provided on the Symposium website.

Registration fees and the cost of lodging will be waived for all presenters, discussants, and invited speakers. Need-based scholarships to waive the registration fees are available for a limited number of PhD Scholars from Institutions that do not support Symposium Attendance. FURTHER INFORMATION: Papers accepted for the Symposium may be submitted to JAAF or ATP, but the reviews at the respective journals will be independent of the review for the Symposium.
