Description
The Finance Department at Penn State University is organizing a two-day conference in State College, PA, with academic sessions held on Thursday and Friday, August 13–14, 2026. We welcome submissions in all areas of finance and aim to foster a highly interactive environment focused on in-depth discussion of papers and ideas. Each paper will be paired with a leading expert in the field as discussant.

In addition to the academic sessions at Smeal College, the conference will feature a welcome reception on Wednesday evening and a conference dinner on Friday, as well as optional excursions highlighting nearby outdoor and recreational activities. The conference will cover food and lodging for all presenters and discussants.

Paper Submission Procedure

To be considered for the program, please submit an electronic version of the paper (PDF format) no later than March 31, 2026, to the conference email psufinconf@psu.edu. Notification of decision: May 1, 2026.
