The Global Finance Association is pleased to announce its 33rd Annual Global Finance Conference, hosted by the School of Business and Economics and its Centre of Applied Economic Studies of the Atlantic (CEEAplA), at the University of the Azores, in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, from June 15-17, 2026.

We invite submissions in the following categories:
• Competitive Papers: Complete papers submitted by the deadline will be considered for Best Paper Awards.
• Work-in-Progress: Abstracts submitted by the deadline, to be completed by the conference date.
• Proposals for Panels, Workshops, and Tutorials: Inviting engaging discussions and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
• Doctoral Student Papers: A dedicated category with one of the top awards.

Publication & Awards
• All submissions will undergo a refereed review process.
• Authors of accepted papers may submit a two-page detailed abstract for inclusion in the 2026 GFC e-Proceedings.
• Papers accepted for presentation at the conference may be submitted to Global Finance Journal for publication in a Special Issue devoted to the Conference (normal review process applies). The best paper accepted for publication in the Global Finance Journal will be awarded a prize of $1,000 by Elsevier Publishing.
• Acceptance Notifications: Authors of accepted papers will be notified by April 2026.
