The International Banking, Economics, and Finance Association (IBEFA) will hold its next Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, in conjunction with the annual Allied Social Science Associations (ASSA) Conference, on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, January 3-5, 2027.

We encourage the submission of papers on topics including (but not limited to) banking; financial risk measurement and management; non-bank financial intermediation and private credit; FinTech; the role of AI in financial intermediation; geo-economic fragmentation and capital flows; sustainable finance; household finance; financial market structure and regulation; and monetary policy.

Completed papers should be submitted electronically by Monday, March 30, 2026.

To submit a paper, please register at the conference website (https://www.conftool.pro/ibefa-assa2027). Please enter information for all authors. There is a submission fee of US$100 per paper; for papers solely authored by PhD students the fee is US$75. Authors of accepted papers must also register to attend the ASSA annual meeting.
