The India Finance Conference 2026 (IFC 2026), the annual event of the Indian Finance Association (IFA), invites papers for its fifteenth edition to be held at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore from 21 – 23 December 2026.
Academics, researchers, doctoral students, and practitioners are invited and encouraged to submit research papers in all areas of finance.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: The IFC 2026 invites full papers for conference presentations, CRISIL Doctoral Symposium and CFA Investment Management sessions. The deadline for submitting papers under all three categories through the conference website is 16 August 2026. Only full paper submissions would be considered.
BEST PAPER AWARDS: THE CONFERENCE WILL HAVE TWO SETS OF BEST PAPER – THEY ARE:
• IFA BEST PAPER: There will be three " IFC 2026 Best Paper" awards given at the conference. The papers will be chosen by a panel of experts from the papers presented (any area) at the conference. Total cash award is USD 1000. • BLACKROCK BEST PAPER AWARD: The BlackRock Applied Research Award recognizes the top five job market papers submitted by PhD candidates on a practical topic pertaining to financial markets, economics, investment management, and risk management. Job market papers should be based on quantitative research and provide practical solutions to the challenges faced by investors and risk managers. The award continues its collaboration with the India Finance Association (IFA) to broaden outreach among Indian researchers.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINE: PDF submissions are preferred. The document must be in double space format using 12-point font size (Times New Roman). The submission should contain: The title, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), JEL classification codes, and e-mail address of corresponding author. PRE – CONFERENCE TUTORIALS: Tutorial sessions will be conducted on 20 December 2026 by eminent academicians from India and abroad. The tutorial will cover emerging areas of Finance and Accounting. Tutorials will be particularly useful for research scholars and academicians
