Overview
The Northeastern Universities Development Consortium (NEUDC) 2026 will be held in person at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY on November 7 and 8, 2026. The conference is organized by the Collaboration for International Development Economics Research (CIDER), a cross-campus initiative at Cornell.
NEUDC has organized annual conferences on development economics since 1967, making it the longest-running gathering in the field. The conference rotates annually among its organizing institutions: Boston University, Brown University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Tufts University, and Yale University.

Call for Papers
Dear Fellow Development Economists,
The Northeastern Universities Development Consortium (NEUDC) 2026 will be held in-person at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY on November 7 and 8, 2026.
From June 15, we will begin accepting paper submissions for NEUDC 2026 at this link. Paper submissions will close on August 9, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET. Only full drafts of papers will be considered. We expect to notify all submitters of decisions by September 15, 2026.
