The Finance Department at the UTS Business School is inviting applications for at least two full-time, tenure-track Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, equivalent to Assistant Professor, starting in late 2023 or early 2024. Recent hires have obtained their PhDs from institutions like the University of New South Wales, Nanyang Technological University, Stockholm University and Ghent University.

Together with other Sydney universities, we host an excellent seminar series that hosts international visitors from renowned institutions. Generous research funding, comprehensive databases, and sabbatical leave are available to support faculty research. To support research productivity, faculty members have competitive teaching loads and can customize their teaching arrangements. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have evidence of high-quality research and show potential to publish in top-tier finance publications. We also value experience in developing and teaching finance subjects with evidence of teaching quality. We welcome applicants with expertise in all areas of finance, with preference given to banking, FinTech/digital finance, market microstructure, ESG/climate finance, and personal finance/financial planning.

REMUNERATION: Total gross pay for Lecturer (Senior Lecturer): A$187,973 (A$212,924). UTS contributes an additional 17% of the gross pay to your superannuation fund.
