Non-tenure Track Assistant/Associate/Full Professorship

The Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University invites applications for non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professors. The expected strength of the applicants should be in teaching at the graduate level, policy or applied research, and administrative services. For the track of Term Professor, an applicant is expected to have strong academic background. For the track of Professor of Practice, an applicant is expected to have significant industry experience. Openings are in all business disciplines, including marketing, operation management, strategy and leadership, organizational behavior, in addition to accounting, economics and finance. TEACHING PREFERENCES Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operation Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategy, and Economics.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Term Professor
1. Applicants must hold a doctorate degree.
2. Applicants shall have a strong commitment to high quality teaching and the ability to supervise master-level theses.
3. Special considerations may be given to applicants who demonstrate a high level of effectiveness and creativity in policy research or applied research, and/or administrative services.

Professor of Practice
1. Applicants must hold a doctorate degree.
2. Applicants for positions at the rank of full professor should be accomplished senior practitioners; Applicants for positions at other ranks should be either an accomplished practitioner or an experienced educator with industry experience.
3. Applicants shall have a strong commitment to high quality teaching and the ability to supervise master-level theses.
4. Special considerations may be given to applicants who demonstrate a high level of effectiveness and creativity in policy research or applied research, and/or administrative services.
