The School of Accountancy at the CUHK Business School is now inviting applications for the positions of Professor(s) / Associate Professor(s)/ Assistant Professor(s), commencing duty in July 2024. Applications from qualified scholars in all specialty areas of accounting (including financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, accounting information systems) or information technology related to business application will be considered.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a doctoral degree (or one that is close to completion) in accounting, finance, or economics. The appointee will be required to teach postgraduate and undergraduate accounting or accounting program-related courses and will be expected to publish in top-tier accounting/finance journals.
For assistant professor positions, appointments will normally be made on a contract basis for up to three years initially, which subject to demonstration of the requisite level of performance and mutual agreement may lead to a longer-term appointment or substantiation (tenure) later.
