清华大学经济管理深圳研究院(Shenzhen Institute of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University)是依据2020年1月深圳市人民政府与清华大学签订的合作框架协议在深圳市福田区共建成立,研究院为清华大学下设的独立法人研究机构。研究院由清华大学经管学院负责直接管理和运行,业务上接受清华大学深圳国际研究生院的领导。
The Shenzhen Institute of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SIEM), was established in Futian District of Shenzhen under a cooperation framework agreement signed between the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and Tsinghua University in January 2020. The institute is an independent corporate research institution under Tsinghua University. The institute is directly managed and operated by Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management, and is operationally under the leadership of Tsinghua University's Shenzhen International Graduate School.
依据2020年9月深圳市福田区人民政府与清华大学经济管理学院签订的合作协议,研究院的建设目标是发挥各方优势,为深圳市及粤港澳大湾区提供高素质人才培养、高水平科学研究及促进高科技成果转化等方面的支持,助力清华大学积极培育与引进人文社会学科世界级顶尖人才及团队,创建世界一流的经济管理学科平台。
According to the cooperation agreement signed between the Shenzhen Futian District Municipal People's Government and the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University in September 2020, the aim of the institute is to fully leverage the advantages of all parties, and to provide support for the Shenzhen City and the Greater Bay Area in terms of training of high-quality talents, conducting high-level scientific research and promoting commercialization of research outputs. The institute aims to help Tsinghua University attract and cultivate world-class talents in the research field of humanities and social sciences and create a world-class platform for economics and management research.

Based on the high-quality development needs of the Shenzhen city and the Greater Bay Area, the institute will promote and attract top academic talents and research teams to come to Futian and build the Innovation Management Discipline Talent Training Program of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, providing support to the important role of the School of Economics and Management in the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship.
研究院由深圳市福田区支持,位于深圳市福田区深业上城,配备一流的研究和实践教学设施。
The institute is supported by Futian District, Shenzhen. It is located in Upper Hills, Futian, Shenzhen. The institute has first-class research and practical teaching facilities.

The institute also has several research centers, Tsinghua University X-Space Shenzhen office, etc.
研究院计划于2025年之前招收长聘教授10名,现有长聘教授4名。
The institute has four tenured professors with three of them having chair professorship. The institute plans to recruit ten tenured professors by 2025.

The FinTech research team of Tsinghua University is led by a chair professor of Tsinghua School of Economics and Management. The goal is to conduct research, relying on tools in mathematics and statistics, on financial artificial intelligence, financial asset pricing, quantitative trading and other cutting edge research topics. The principle investigator of the team is a national level chair professor who is now a Senior Editor of a leading international journal, Information Systems Research. His papers have appeared in the most prestigious international journals and his works have been cited more than 8000 times.
团队目前聚焦研究如何应用数学、统计学、物理学、计量经济学和机器学习等工具,建立和修正金融资产定价模型。项目组主要的工作是研究算子搜索式人工智能算法理论,开发算子搜索式人工智能算法支持系统,并且将以上研究和软件应用于金融市场数据中,利用量化算法挖掘并且理解金融市场的规律以及原理,将所开发的软件和算法投入工业界作生产。项目组期望开拓出能更好结合领域专家提供的逻辑规律与强大人工智能算法的实践范式,为人工智能算法更稳健、透明、可控、高效作出学术和应用的贡献。
The team currently focuses on the application of mathematics, statistics, physics, econometrics and machine learning tools to build and modify financial asset pricing models. The main focus of the project team is to study the theory of operator-searching AI algorithms, develop an operator-searching AI algorithm support system, and apply the above research and software to financial market data, using quantitative algorithms to mine and understand the laws and principles of financial markets, and putting the developed software and algorithms into industrial production. The project team expects to develop a practical paradigm that better combines the logical laws provided by domain experts with powerful AI algorithms, and to make academic and applied contributions to more robust, transparent, controllable, and efficient AI algorithms.
