The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Business Administration invites applications for non-tenure system faculty positions for full-time Lecturers and Clinical Professors at the assistant, associate or full levels. The role will entail teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in any or all the areas of financial accounting, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, taxation, and data analytics starting August 2024. In addition to teaching, candidates must be willing to provide service to the department, business school, university, and accounting profession. A CPA license is preferred but not required.

Non-Tenure system faculty in the College of Business Administration teach courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students in their field of expertise and provide service to their department, college, and/or campus. Additionally, non-tenure system faculty at the rank of Clinical Professor make intellectual contributions to their discipline through basic or applied research and/or activities that translate disciplinary scholarship to a professional audience.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements for the rank of Lecturer include a master’s degree in accounting or related field, evidence of teaching capability, demonstrated efforts in department service and in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion through teaching.

Requirements for the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate and Full Professor further include a doctorate or other terminal degree.

Salary, compensation, and rank/title will be commensurate with and based upon academic qualifications and experience.
