The Finance section at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University, invites applications for the position as Senior Lecturer in Business Administration, especially Finance. This position (in Swedish, “universitetslektor”) is a full-time, indefinite-term employment. The position involves developing and teaching first- and second-cycle courses in finance, as well as delivering contract education. The responsibilities also include course coordination, independent research, and supervision of students at different levels. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the finance subject’s research, as well as participate in the internal work of the School and the pedagogical development of the subject. Teaching is mainly conducted in English.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Eligible applicants for the position of Senior Lecturer should hold a PhD, or have equivalent research skills. The applicant must be able to demonstrate documented teaching skills and experience from teaching finance. Teaching proficiency should normally be demonstrated through teaching experience at both the undergraduate and master levels. Teaching proficiency should be well documented and in a manner that makes it possible to assess the quality of the teaching activities. The applicant must have the ability to cooperate with colleagues as well as other abilities that are required in order to successfully meet the demands of the position.
