The Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies at The University of Alabama invites applications for one full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of instructor beginning August 16, 2026, in Finance. Responsibilities will include performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University and teaching basic corporate finance and investment courses at the undergraduate level.
This is a non-tenure earning position renewable for three-year periods at the discretion of the University with no expectation of continued employment beyond any three-year contract period. Salary is competitive.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in economics, finance or a closely related field.
Prior experience teaching large lecture sections is preferred. Applicants working towards the completion of their doctoral degree will be considered for a one year visiting appointment.
