Job Description & Qualification
In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for full-time professors in Finance at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level (Lille Campus, starting September 2026). He/She/They will be a part of the department of “Finance”. In particular, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate proven expertise in one of the following fields:
- International Finance
- Financial Markets
- Financial Economics (especially with a focus on the macro-economic environment and monetary policy)
- Risk Management
- AI in Finance/NLP Methods
Knowledge of Bloomberg, experience in Executive teaching or the ability to teach in French are additional assets for the position.

Research will be a strong focus of the selected candidate as he/she/they will contribute to the vibrant research community at IESEG through their commitment to research excellence. He/she/they is therefore expected to hold a PhD, have a strong publication record (or potential for Assistant Professors) in top-tier refereed journals listed in AJG, as well as a good international network.

In terms of teaching, the selected candidate will teach courses in Finance at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs. As such, we are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills, and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Professional experience and knowledge of French are a plus, but not a requirement. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of “Finance” consists of over 40 full-time academic staff who is involved in several programs, including the Grande Ecole Program, the Master in Finance, the Apprenticeship program in Financial Institutions: Risk Management and Compliance as well as the Executive Program in Financial Management. The School provides ample resources to support a variety of research interests and other teaching activities (WRDS and Bloomberg, among others).
