Job Description & Qualification
The Finance area at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management offers a two‐year postdoctoral fellowship for recent graduates with a Ph.D. in Finance or Economics, with research interests in financial economics.

Postdocs work closely with Owen finance faculty on new research projects while making progress toward the publication of their current work. To be eligible, candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by July prior to the start of the fellowship. The strongest candidates will be those whose research interests closely align with those of Owen faculty and for whom both the postdoc and the faculty member can foresee developing joint research projects. We encourage applicants to review the Owen finance faculty webpage and identify specific faculty members with similar research interests in their cover letter.

Application Procedure
To apply, send a cover letter explaining your background, C.V., a research statement, three letters of recommendation, and a sample research paper. Please submit all materials through Interfolio. Questions may be directed to Professor Veronika K Pool (veronika.pool@vanderbilt.edu).

Candidates are encouraged to apply by March 1, 2026, when the review process begins. However, applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
