Job Description & Qualification
The University of Queensland (Group of Eight, research intensive) invites applications for a Lecturer in Finance. This is a full time, continuing teaching & research (T&R) position suited to early career scholars seeking to build a strong research profile and contribute to high quality teaching. For international candidates note that this is equivalent to a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor role. All areas of finance will be considered, with particular interest in fintech and investments/asset management.
The successful candidate will pursue an active research agenda, publish in leading journals, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise Honours and HDR students, and engage in service activities within a collegial and growing Finance group.

QUALIFICATIONS
• PhD in Finance or a closely related discipline (completed or near completion)
• Evidence of research potential through working papers, conference presentations, or publications
• Demonstrated high quality teaching ability and interest in curriculum development
• Capacity to supervise research students and contribute to School service

COMPENSATION & SUPPORT
Competitive salary plus 17% superannuation; relocation support available for international and interstate applicants.
