Qualifications:
PhD in Finance or Economics
Strong programming skills in R or Python
Solid experience in empirical research, including panel data methods, ideally with firm-level data
Experience with machine learning and/or artificial intelligence techniques is an asset
Strong research potential with the ambition to publish in leading finance journals
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team

About the Organization
Frankfurt School invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship funded by the Centre for European Transformation (CfET). The position is for a fixed term of two years and is open to candidates conducting broad research in finance, with a preference for work in financial intermediation and capital markets.
The successful candidate will join a team of researchers working in this area and contribute to strengthening the Centre’s research output. The role is research-focused and does not include teaching duties, though research-related tasks within the Centre are expected.
