Job Description & Qualification
The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure track Visiting Faculty Position(s) in Finance at the level of Visiting Assistant, Associate or Full Professor starting August 19, 2026. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 2 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 4 classes/year) and include a 1-year contract with benefits, with the possibility of renewal. For more information about the Visiting Faculty policy, refer to the Policy Manual, III 10.12.

Education Requirement
An earned doctorate or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed before August 19, 2026.

Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated potential for publishing research in top-tier journals.
• Demonstrated ability to teach finance at the undergraduate or graduate level.

The Finance Department is a leading center for research and education in finance.
