  • 详情 Unleashing new-quality productive forces: Reconsidering the impact of data-factor marketization
Data-factor marketization (DFM) serves as a critical driver for cultivating manufacturing-enterprise new-quality productive forces (ME-NQPF), fundamentally supporting China's transition toward high-quality economic development. Integrating matched panel data from A-share listed Chinese manufacturing firms (2011–2022) with the staggered establishment of regional data trading platforms as a quasi-natural experiment, this study employs a multi-period difference-in-differences (DID) framework to identify the causal impact of DFM on ME-NQPF. Empirical results demonstrate that DFM significantly enhances ME-NQPF, a finding that remains robust across alternative specifications and endogeneity treatments. Mechanism analysis identifies enterprise digital transformation as a pivotal mediator in this relationship, while competitive intensity is found to positively moderate the productivity gains from data marketization. Heterogeneity analysis further indicates that these effects are most pronounced among non-state-owned enterprises, technology-intensive sectors, and firms situated in China's eastern and central regions. These findings suggest that institutionalizing data-factor markets and accelerating digital integration are effective mechanisms for optimizing resource allocation and sustaining advanced industrial productivity.
  • 详情 How Digital Transformation Driving Corporate Social Responsibility- Empirical Evidence from China's A-Share Listed Companies
Enterprise digital transformation has become an inevitable trend in the digital economy era that can significantly impact enterprises. This paper takes the data of A-share listed companies from 2006 to 2022 as a sample to explore the effect of enterprise digital transformation on listed companies' corporate social responsibility and the mechanism of its role. It was found that corporate digital transformation can significantly enhance Csr(Corporate social responsibility), and enterprise digital transformation has a noticeable enabling effect on Csr, which can dramatically improve Csr. The relationship between the two still holds after the robustness test. It has been found that digital transformation can affect Csr by enhancing the green innovation capability of enterprises, the fairness of internal compensation distribution, and the sustainable development capability of enterprises. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that corporate digital transformation's impact on Csr fulfillment performance is more significant for non-state-owned firms and firms in the central and eastern regions. In addition, corporate financing constraints and government innovation subsidies influence Csr.
  • 详情 Does the digital transformation of enterprises affect stock price crash risk?
This study investigates the effect of enterprise digital transformation on stock price crash risk using a sample of Chinese listed companies during the period 2007-2020. We find that the digital transformation of enterprises can significantly reduce stock price crash risk, and shows a certain structural heterogeneity. The above conclusions still hold after a series of robustness tests. Further, we identify that the relationship is more pronounced in high-tech enterprises and economically developed regions. Overall, the paper can provide empirical evidence for understanding how to reduce stock price crash risk in the capital market, and provide relevant implications for better driving the digital transformation of enterprises.
